Scientific Networking Event: Smart Cities and Urban Development

Both the US and Germany dispose of relevant resources in research and technology in the field of smart cities. This is why 6 urban research networks of the current campaign “Shaping the Future - Building the City of Tomorrow” of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) are presenting their ideas during a scientific networking event to forge international bonds with strong partners in the US.

2 May | New York

The aim is to develop innovative solutions and joint projects for resource-efficient and climate-adapted cities of the future. The GCRI is inviting American researchers, urban planners, architects, decision makers, municipal authorities and representatives from the private sector to participate and share their ideas. The event is followed by a networking reception to offer a forum for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences.
